About Me

Engineering systems that connect code, hardware, and real-world behavior.

I enjoy solving problems that span firmware, electrical design, mechanics, and human interaction. That often means building tools that are technical under the hood but feel clear and purposeful on the surface.

Profile

What I care about

I am a University of Waterloo Computer Engineering student with hands-on experience in embedded firmware, motor-control systems, robotics software, and AI-assisted workflow design. I am especially drawn to projects where physical systems and software have to work together cleanly under real constraints.

My recent work has included STM32-based product development, BLDC control, flight software for student-built aircraft, and AI tooling for media and engineering workflows. I like precise systems, collaborative teams, and products that turn complex behavior into something useful.

Education

Academic path

  • University of Waterloo, Candidate for Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering, expected June 2029.
  • Shanghai Weiyu High School, IBDP, completed June 2024.

Build Style

Full-stack engineer with a hardware mindset

I like instrumented systems, robust debugging, and designs that stay compact without becoming fragile.

Outside Class

Creative production and communication

Beyond engineering, I work with video, audio, and visual storytelling tools, which helps me present technical ideas clearly and build polished experiences.

Long-Term Goal

Make intelligent hardware more usable

I want to build systems that combine sensing, control, and intelligent interfaces to solve practical problems in the physical world.
